During Crop Over the island gives thanks for the fruits of the harvest and it comes alive with music, dancing, calypso, colourful celebrations and carnivals. The highlight of the festival is the the finale - The Grand Kadooment - were the most productive sugar cane workers are crowned King and Queen of the crop.
Grand Kadoo’s range of rums are a celebration of this wonderful, colourful culture and they are as rich, as the history that encircles this great spirit.
Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, our Rum production is located just a short drive from the island’s popular and lively southern coastline.
The family-owned distillery has produced premium quality Rum for 4 generations making it a world-leader of which Barbados can be truly proud.

60ml Kadoo Banana
20ml Lime
1 heaped teaspoon white sugar
Add lime juice to the sugar in a shaker and stir to dissolve. Add Rum, shake and double strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a sugar rim

Pineapple chunks on cocktail skewer
60ml Pineapple Juice
25ml Coconut Water / Milk
Blend all ingredients with 5 ice cubes until smooth. Pour into a glass and garnish with pineapple

1 part Orange Juice
1 part Pineapple Juice
1 part Ginger Ale
